I can't wait...

Thank you Alex for providing me with countless amounts of blackmail for when you get older.  

With three teenage boys I am sure it is going to serve me well.

What can I say...  the boy doesn't like to wear clothes.
Maybe we should have warned Erin about this prior to planning a vacation together.  

My girl

So, although I was never blessed enough to carry my own little girl, I have been blessed enough to have a very special one in my life. 

Claire is my little helper.  Alex adores her.  She is great with Graham (she changes diapers).  And she whips Tyler into shape when needed.  Heck, maybe she should just be the mom.



While Tyler was practicing basketball we took in the sunshine by the water.  Graham loved watching the duck while Alex, well, he loved throwing rocks at the ducks.  Such a boy!

Peaceful

With three boys so much of my days are filled with noise and chaos.
So I cherish the silence when it happens.

There is no better feeling than driving in silence with the sun shining through the windshield and looking back to see your sweet little one fast asleep.  Ahh, it's the little things.
I sat in the car, parked in front of my house for an extra 25 minutes just relishing those moments.

Bad mom award # ... not sure.

Ok, so I am pretty sure that this picture is photo evidence that I should win the bad mom of the year award, twice over, but it was too funny not to share.

Bad mom of the year nomination:

Not only did I leave my infant in the pack-n-play while I took a shower, but I also left one two year old brother on the loose and a basket full of toys accessible to that said two year old.

Hey, I have to give credit to the big brother... he was simply trying to make his sad little brother happy.  Little did he realize that he was indeed pelting him with hard plastic objects, and books, as he threw them all in the pack-n-play.
And last but not least I left the poor screaming baby in his sea of toys while I ran to get my camera to document this event.
Definitely a bad mom!

Me and my Littles

The other day I was looking through my pictures, editing them and getting them organized.  In doing so I realized that there are very few of me and the boys.  Well, I had to take care of that.  I put on some make up, set up the timer on the camera and we were in business.



Alex didn't want his picture taken at first but then couldn't resist getting in on the action.  Of course, he had to do it HIS way.  Just like everything else he does these days.  And to think that 3 is worse than 2... ugh!
