Suncadia Weekend

A few weeks back we took a much needed weekend trip to Suncadia.  Lucky for us, the Hofmeister's joined us for this memorable weekend.  

Friday night we packed up 5 kids, 2 moms, one dog, an amazing amount of food and booze and hit the road.

After a very snowy drive through the pass we made it safe and sound.
Thanks to lack of communication we were well stocked to get through the weekend.



The kids enjoyed some dinner, a few trips down the stairs, belly first, and headed off to bed while the ladies waited for the dads to get there.
We may have broken into the liquor while we waited.



Saturday all the big boys headed off to the mountain for some skiing while Shannon, me and the littles had a lazy morning drinking coffee, watching movies, by the fire and hanging out at the pool.







This little one brushed up on his musical skills, practiced some crawling





and manned the fire.



Sunday brought us even more snow.  We tested out the sledding hill which proved to be too big and too cold for the little ones.  Colin and Tyler had a blast though.



And of course there was the photo ops.  Couldn't pass those up...
















Thanks Todd, Shannon, Colin and Erin for joining us on our get away.  It wouldn't have been the same without you.  Thank you also to my sister for letting us use your house for the weekend.  What a treat to spend a weekend away!  Can't wait to do it again.
